ASP, or Application Service Provider, is a business model that supplies the client's informational technology services by means of the Internet network. The application is installed on the services supplier's server and the beneficiary accesses services by means of the Internet network.
Advantages:
- Immediate use.
- Does not imply a special infrastructure installed at the beneficiary's premises.
- Flexibility (not related to the beneficiary's hardware).
- Reaction time in high service circumstances, as the equipment is under Azure staff's permanent supervision.
- Does not require the customer needs analysis stage.
- Data are loaded cryptically in the Siox system (set in the Azure Datacenter); the existence of a beneficiary's server system isn't required.
- Not practical for large data volumes because the data transmission speed is limited by the speed of the internet connection.
Functional characteristics:
- Allows sending campaigns by using SMS technology from a computer to a receivers'database.
- Product recommended for volumes up to one million monthly messages. For larger volumes we recommend the Professional version.
- Messages have a high personalization level with an unlimited number of variables.
- Flexible database formats, either in Microsoft Excel or any other format, without having a predefined structure.
- Campaign management, follows up each company individually, with details up to the SMS level (percentile reports graphically presented).
- Updated status of sent messages (message status is updated every minute).
- Budget management, achieved using a sophisticated reporting system that allows organizational, departmental, user, campaign and even SMS budget analysis.
- Application personalization, as to correspond with the organizational structure and users roles within the user's organization. We achieve this through a refined access system, granulated on data and functional characteristics.
- Protection of client's vital data with a sophisticated sent/received message management system. This system is based on the limitation of data storing period to the message's life cycle.
- Efficiency and profit increase by cost cutting. Siox performs the validation of phone numbers and does not allow message sending towards numbers in the wrong format.
- Specific module for Data collection, allowing addition of potential clients and completion of the database.
- Ability to configure and validate templates that may be used on later campaigns.
- Bidirectional communication. Siox allows the reception of messages sent to predefined phone numbers or short code. It also allows the creation and setting of automatic, personalized or configurable answers.
